The Cloud In Her Room by the Chinese director, Zheng Lu Xinyuan won the Best Film award of the 11th Athens Avant Garde Film Festival, at the awards ceremony that took place on Sunday, the 25th of October, online. The International Competition jury, chose Zheng Lu Xinyuan's film "for the enigmatic and honest journey of a young woman, in search of a place where she can belong in a black-and-white utopia, making us wonder what is familiar and intimate to each other and to ourselves".

Strike Or Die by Jonathan Rescigno received the Special Mention at the closing and awards ceremony of the 11th Athens Avant Garde Film Festival, by the Greek Film Archive, that took place on Sunday, October 25th. "For the rich tapestry of different people of an industrial town in France full of fog, beyond which we felt the imminent Revolution coming", according to the International Competition's Jury.
