An American family takes an apocalyptic road trip through the US West. A summer holiday of camping, mini golf, swimming, and baseball, in landscapes inscribed by extermination, genocide, and war. An essayistic road-movie on the dark side of the US, interweaving home movies with a spectacular archive of nuclear tests and indie-folk music, raising contemporary and timeless ecological and political questions.
