Gian fights the darkness caused by sudden amnesia. Miriam, the daughter he does not recognize, gives him a diary he wrote in his twenties, revolving around Leila, a girl with whom he discovered love over the course of one night. This exacerbates Gian’s pain but pushes him to find himself again and to experience a revelation. What happens if we forget the love of our life?
Sara Fgaier is an Italian-Tunisian director, editor and producer. She received the Rolex Arts Prize for Film (2012-2013) under the mentorship of Walter Murch. She directed several short films Humble Italy (2014, Venice Days) and The years (2018, Horizons, Venice Film Festival) which won the EFA as Best European Short Film and the Silver Ribbon for Best Documentary Short Film. Weightless (2024) is her first feature film, which premiered in International Competition at the Locarno Film Festival. She is the co-founder with Pietro Marcello of the film company Avventurosa and founder of Limen. As editor and producer she made several films including The Mouth of the Wolf (2009) and Lost and Beautiful (2015).
