Summary Captain Nikolas (Ioannis Apostolidis) returns home to Athens from the war and finds out that his wife (Athanasia Moustaka) has died, that his son (Iordanis Marinos) is with the Resistance and is hiding in the mountains, and there is no news about him - and that his daughter (Elli Lampeti) was executed by the Germans together with her beloved (Nikos Chatziskos). At his wife’s grave, he will meet his son again.
