Summary Margarita (Tzeni Karezi) comes to Athens to try "to hit the jackpot". A cousin of hers (Popi Lazou) helps her find a job in a fashion house. Margarita goes to Kos, accompanied by an assistant (Thanasis Vengos) to promote the products of the house. The residents believe she is the daughter of a Greek-American tycoon. She pretends to be his daughter and stays as a guest in a mansion. The tycoon’s son (Giannis Fertis) won’t reveal her true identity; on the contrary, he falls in love with her and proposes marriage.
