MARLON BRANDO DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE
Posterior title: VENGOS THE LOVER
When Stephanos (Thanasis Vengos), a dismal employee at a registry office, arrives on Poros on holiday, he is warmly welcomed because of his name – which is the same as that of the famous poet, for whom he is mistaken. At the same time, the real poet (Kostas Kakkavas) conceals his true identity to prove to his friend (Angelos Theodoropoulos) that he can win women’s hearts without them knowing he’s famous. However, when he realizes that things are not exactly as he imagined, and that the small-time employee is stealing his thunder by pretending to be him and being pursued by women, the poet reveals his true identity and wins over the girl he loves (Ntina Trianti).
