This is the first contemporary documentation in moving picture of the life of monks in Meteora around 1924. The film from the Michalis Dorizas collection presents the daily life of monks, their agricultural activities, the harvest of olives, the function of hand-wheeled net-elevators of the Meteora monasteries, the call for lunch and the traditional making of coffee, the study of the holy books and the praying.
