The wheel of a car loosens and detaches from the car. It runs on the streets and arrives at a beach where hundreds of Athenians bask in the sun. The narration continues.The wheel continues its trip on the city streets. It falls in love with another wheel and tries to “make love with it”. A comment on love, reflecting the inhabitants of the city.

The wheel wanders with music in several known places in Athens.

The wheel visits the Acropolis, along with several tourists. The narrator makes sharp and ironic comments on the Athenians’ indifference for their great monument.

The wheel continues its wandering on the rooftops of buildings and observes the private life of its inhabitants: people fight, a man sleeps on a roof, another one performs his morning exercise routine imagining that the wheel chases him, two girls sunbathe on a rooftop.

The wheel arrives at the poor neighborhoods of Athens. Shacks with children playing among the garbage. The narrator questions the ambitious expectations and promises of statistics to eliminate poverty in the city and to upgrade everything, from technology to education.

Participants: CHILDREN OF POOR FAMILIES

Shots from the façades of apartment buildings and comments on the quality of life that surrounds them: reduction of quiet, of privacy and, certainly, of the horizon.

The wheel passes from ancient and modern cemeteries and ends up in a graveyard of cars and wheels, where the compression of the discarded spare parts is not much different from what the inhabitants of the city experience.
