Magic Lantern

Origin of manufacture unknown. Its construction looks quite like the 'RUBY' model of the 'HORNTON-PICKARD' company, with almost the same characteristics. The main body is of aluminium painted black, on a wooden sliding base, using the ‘bellows’ system. It has probably been modified, with the addition of an electric lamp. Behind the slide case there is a magnifying glass, and behind the magnifying glass there is a light source that illuminates the projected slide. Its lens has been removed. It projects glass slides. Construction period: 1905 – 1915, possibly in England.
