Magic Lantern THE RECORD ENLARGER
It is marked by a label that reads 'THE RECORD ENLARGER, BRITISH MADE'. This magic lantern was manufactured by the company W. Butcher & Sons Ltd. around 1915. At the front part of the ‘lantern’ on the wood, a small round metallic label bears the logo of the company (WB Sons Ltd). It is made of wood (oak) with a black metallic ‘chimney’ and body. It projects glass slides. The focusing adjustments and assembly are made of copper. Dimensions: 53.5 x 30.5 x 48 cm. It takes slides of dimensions 8,2 x 10 cm.
