The programme mentions the venture of Andres Linares and José Luis Garcia Sanchez, two of “the most remarkable documentarists of modern Spanish cinema” to put into film the biography of DOLORES Ibarruri, the legendary " La Pasionaria". The film starts from her childhood up to her forty-year stay in Russia and her definitive return to Spain in 1977, through the “compelling narration” of the fighter herself, documents from the civil war and other archival material.
