After his film "Queen of Spades " (1910), Pyotr Chardynin makes the black-and-white silent film "CHRYSANTHEMUMS", a romantic story, with a great main cast which includes Ivan Mozuhin and Vera Karalli. The value of the film does not lie so much in the good script or its artistic and technical merits as in the opportunity the audience has to come into contact with the main cast, who are a living legend of cinematic history.
