The note begins with the information that Ridley Scot's film "ΒLΑDE RUNNER" is adapted from a book by Philip Dick and then looks into the plot in detail: at the beginning of the 21st century, Tire Company introduces a new generation of cyber-organisms, replicas. Replicas Nexus 6, which surpass their creators in power, agility and intelligence, are used as mercenaries for the colonization of new planets. On one such planetary colony, replicas openly defy authority and are outlawed, while BLADE RUNNERS, a special police task force is set up for their destruction. Officer Dekar from the task force is called to exterminate 4 replicas that had escaped and come to Earth. It says in the note that Dekar's struggle combines elements from film noir and science fiction films, while ΒLΑDE RUNNER does not provide any easy answers to the question about human nature. If in "METRPOPOLIS" Freder is determined to exterminate phony-robotic Maria and set the real one free, for Dekar it is a tough decision, as he falls in love with Rachel, an advanced technology replica.
