Reference to film awards.
The program cites two documentaries of T. Kanellopoulos and a short biography of him. In the first film, the MACEDONIAN WEDDING, which was shot in the village of Velvendos, a place almost untouched since the Homeric age, he singles out the lyric and at the same time objective depiction of the union of idolatry with Christianity, of nature, and of love. Finally, according to the program, the second short documentary, THASOS, is also characterized by “lyric realism”.
