The presentation starts with commenting on Aristophanes and his LYSISTRATA and then continues with the evaluation of the filming of this comedy. It characterizes the collaboration of the director with the scriptwriter G. Negreponti (translation, adaptation, dialogues) and the rest of the cast (Karezi, Fonsou, Kazakos, Papagiannopoulos, Mantzourani, Kazan etc) as “valuable”. It ends with the conclusion that the filmmaker managed to film a “fine” comedy during the dictatorship emphasizing on terms such as peace, freedom and democracy.
