Presentation of details on the establishment and action of the production company OLYMPIA FILMS which in 1931 films its second movie (directed by D. Tsakiris) SWEETHEART OF A SHEPHERDESS, based on the homonym romantic comedy of Koromilas. The movie, which according to the program is “considered to be one of the trademarks of Greek Cinema as the sound is 75% synchronized” (by LIGNOSETON FILM in Berlin). Reference to the assistance of Lumiere social program to the Greek Film Archive in the restoration of the film. The program concludes with the statement that the romantic mood of the film and its advertisement as a movie with speech made it the most commercial of its period.
