The film THE EXCURSION is characterized as a “lyrical (…) canvas for the desperate judgment of a passionate love”. Its plot talks about two lovers who attempt to “escape through a NO MAN’S LAND”. This EXCURSION -‘escape’ leads them to death - “the only escape from a love which fights the social environment”. Emphasis on the leading presence of the Macedonian scenery, the ‘amazing” performance of the actors, the “valuable” contribution of the photographer Sirakos Danalis as well as the distinctions the film was awarded with.
