ΤΑΙΝΙΟΘΗΚΗ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ, ΜΙΚΡΗ ΛΕΣΧΗ (ΚΑΝΑΡΗ 1) - ANTIGONE
As the program informs us from the beginning this film, which is based on the homonym tragedy of Sophocles, is the realization of a “youthful dream” of G. Tzavellas. The film projects the “respect” that the director has on Sophocles word, the “obedience of the picture to speech”, the use of “orthodox technique”, the “simple cinematic script” and the actors’ freedom of movements. The program concludes with reference to the distinctions of the film.
