In the film "PROVIDENCE" by Alain Resnais, director of the trilogy: "HIROSHIMA MON AMOUR", "LAST YEAR AT MARIENBAD ", "ΜYRIEL", the renowned author Clive Langham is dying slowly in his big estate named "PROVIDENCE", thinking over his life and remembering the people who surrounded him, but also the imaginary heroes of his books. The existential motive of agony and guilt and the political hints of religious intensity, aspects that Rene loves to unfold in his films, are dominant in this one too, clear and concrete, says Mona Mitropoulou, editor of the note.
