The program starts with a brief reference to the most popular movies of Dreyer of the later period. Informs us that the film is based on the theater play by Kay Munk, ORDET, which was first staged in theater in 1925 and that Dreyer decided to transfer the play to the big screen, when he saw the play in 1932, an idea that he finally managed to realized after 23 whole years. The program continues with the movie credits and its plot, which refers to the young woman who died at birth, but comes back to life, "through an act of faith, through a WORD". The presentation, finally, refers to those elements that characterize the movie, like its "slow" pace, its drama core full of contradictions, the simplicity of the action and of the sets.
