A film of the producer mostly rather of the director, it has the originality that makes it separate itself from its kind, of the same time - in that it gives an unexpected ending, Ipsenically sociological, when the mother of a spoiled young lady and an unfaithful husband leaves her home in order to face life by herself. The cinema during this time is very conservative in the way it approaches the woman. The film however differentiates itself, as the leading lady breaks the social taboos, appears to be bold, with an attraction more spiritual than physical, the even mocks her beauty, resulting in the film meeting with unimaginable success.
