A collection of songs by unknown composers that were sung in Eastern Russia giving pictures of the everyday live of the people, which attribute all of the positive changes in their life to Lenin and to the revolution.
Dziga Vertov is considered to be the most Soviet, the most representative of the first years of the Russian revolution as a director who put his films in the service of his country and in that sense they are Historical.
Watching his films we must take into account his multiple relations with the history of Soviet Russia, the evolution of Russian cinematography and the history of the technique of Cinema.
