On the cover, the title of the film that is screened: "THE LOVERS " by Louis Malle with Jeanne Moreau, Alain Connue, Jean Marc Bory in the “ACROPOLE” hall. A note on the film, edited by Barbis Vozalis. "THE LOVERS” is Louis Malle’s second film, shot when he was 26 years old, following "A SATURDAY NIGHT". Louis Male collaborated with novelist Louise de Vilmorin in the script. According to the author, the film is inspired by Diderot’s "JACOB, THE IMMORALIST ". It includes the film’s plot along with the note that although the film’s screening in Paris scandalized the audience with its theme and love scenes, as it is about sensual love, the director did not resort to vulgarity and cheapness. Male’s direction stands out for the "gentle narration and the literary dialogues".
The end of this note is followed by an exhortation - an invitation to the friends of the Cinema Club to support it with the recruiting of new members.
