ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ - SCREENINGS OF RESTORED CLASSICAL AMERICAN FILMS

The introduction of Theodoros Adamopoulos’ “The Conservation of Cinema Film” refers to: the wear and tear on films and their loss, the Greek situation, the transfer of films onto combs after admitting them into the Archives, checking the material by the admitters, taking advantage of silver and the consequent destruction of film, and, finally, the need for film conservation. Then there are notes from representatives of American institutions giving information and stressing the efforts to save and preserve film. Finally, it lists the films with photos, credits, plots and reviews.
