Αφιέρωμα Φεντερίκο Φελίνι

The 18-year-old Fellini from Rimini settles in Rome. He immediately acquaints himself with the bordellos and their disreputable visits by inspectors. 34 years later, he directs a portrait of the city which acted as the true backdrop, to his fame. Is it a fictitious rendition of reality or a documentary of a dream? Roma, is a show of two stars: the creator in his youth and maturity and the Eternal City of all images. With its beauty and ugliness; its ancient grandeur and Mussolini-an pettiness; its monumental architecture and monstrous traffic jams. Where else, could anyone see an outrageously eccentric fashion show for cardinals? Or the lady of cinema, Anna Magnani herself, say her goodnights to Fellini and his crew, propped outside her door like love-struck paparazzi puppies?
