After the end of World War II and the liberation of Serbia, a young idealist devotes himself to the Party, but soon becomes involved in political games that make him reconsider his position. A prime example of the Yugoslav Black Wave, Zivodzin Pavlovic's film uses elements from two short stories (written by him and Antonije Isakovic) to outline the origins of the communist regime in the long-suffering Balkan country.
