NEUMADE Synchroniser
‘Four-gang’ measurer ("synchroniser") with four channels, two for 35mm and two for 16mm. Used for measuring film in order to calibrate with precision specific periods of sound and image, frame by frame. The film advances, held by sprockets which match the perforations, so that different combinations of synchronizations of sound and image can be calibrated without losing their sequence. Made in the 1960s by NEUMADE, which designed and manufactured various accessories for the entertainment industry.
