Magnetic Film Perforator

A laboratory aid of unknown manufacture and origin, most likely from the early 1960s, which is used in perforating magnetic film. This is a type of film coated with an iron-oxide emulsion, on which sound is recorded during the editing process by ‘Moviola’. ‘Magnetic film’ comes in 16, 17 1/2, and 35 mm.
