Summary Tonia, daughter of the industrialist Evelpidis, blames Alexis for setting fire to her father’s industry, which caused the death of four employees. Alexis is a mentally disordered veteran of the Korean war, once engaged to Tonia. In court she tries to get back at him in every possible way, just because he abandoned her, however, through the procedure, it turns out that her brother, a rally driver, was the one who actually had the factory burned down, in order to get the insurance money, as the business was no longer profitable. In the meanwhile, Tonia manages to shut Alexis in a mental hospital, but at the same time she is also being supportive, given that the young man’s mental and physical health have been irreparably damaged.
