Magic Lantern - HORNTON-PICKARD model RUBY
Model “Ruby”, made by HORNTON-PICKARD. The main body is made of aluminium painted black, on a wooden sliding base, using the bellows system. It has probably been modified, with the addition of an electric lamp. Behind the slide case there is a magnifying glass, and behind the magnifying glass there is a light source that illuminates the projected slide. Its lens has been removed. It projects glass slides. Construction period: 1905 – 1915.
