Film Bin / Trim Bin
A bin for the pieces of film that have been cut during editing. Before it is decided that they are useless, they are hung by a rack of pins that hold the film from the perforations, the small holes at the edges of the frame (two per frame for 16mm, four per frame for 35mm). A necessary ‘accessory’ for every editing room to register the film not yet processed.
