ΤΑΙΝΙΟΘΗΚΗ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ, ΜΙΚΡΗ ΛΕΣΧΗ (ΚΑΝΑΡΗ 1) - 400 ΧΤΥΠΗΜΑΤΑ, ΤΑ
Having integrated elements from his childhood into his 1957 film "LES ΜΙSTONS", Truffaut has now set his sights on imprinting the problems of adolescence in his other, likewise biographical film "ΤΑ 400 ΧΤΥΠΗΜΑΤΑ". It is said that before shooting the film, Truffaut studied other films on children's issues, such as Hugo's "ZERO CONDUCT", Rosselini's "GERMANY YEAR ZERO", as well as Clemen's "ROAD OF LIFE" and "FORBIDDEN GAMES".
Truffaut's moving film is noted for its marked realism: the director paints the picture of "a full-fledged child, possessing all the attributes of his age". In this venture, Truffaut has the support of a young ally: little Leo, who grows up to be no other than the famous Jean Pier Leo.
